The Backpack unit is designed to be compact, clean burning, durable, and as light weight as possible for the backpacker, all the while leaving no trace on the environment. Considering wood as a fuel source while cooking and heating, this unit produces extreme heat from a few pieces of wood, even in extreme weather conditions. Depending on wood conditions, this unit can easily bring to a boil 4 cups of water in a five inch pan in five minutes.

This unit made of 20 gauge sheet metal with hinges and pins, available in plain steel or stainless steel.
This unit comes with an elevated stainless steel bottom and nylon bag.

This unit is easily assembled from three sides, one of which has a built in top rack, forming a cylinder 12 inches in diameter and 12 inches high, 14 inches high with bottom. The disassembled size is 12"x12"x5" and weighs under 7 pounds.
